Building Suns

A poem on finding the light within

Weary of cloudy days, same old ways,
long to see the world with fresh eyes,
find wonder in small things,
celebrate a sunrise,
awaken to the spring?

If you think you’re on the wrong track
you can find a new guru
you can find a new cave
or better yet, seek yourself
and begin to be saved.

The answer lies within, so
if you want to live in sunshine
but can’t escape the night,
build your own sun
and live strong in the light.
