Sharing The Mountain With Milarepa
Songs of the yogi master
always seek the highest ground
and dwell in remote mountains
with the great snow lions
live free from claims and demands
removed from the world’s
wars, turmoil, and confusion
we will keep warm by kindling
a tantric fire deep within,
our sustenance will be thought
a mindfeast of concentration,
our wealth, inner satisfaction
we will sprout no roots
no anchors will tether us
free to travel lands that beckon us
we will seed our dreams
with the calm of the void
and listen to its breathless silence
and the days will pass
without pressure, our souls so light
we will soar through the sky like eagles
